A Return to the Land of the Midnight Sun

When I left Sweden, three years ago, I had a very distinct feeling that it was not the last time I would be there. Some things you just know. This I knew. It is unusual to feel this way about a place that is over five thousand miles away and where you have no roots or, really, anything to draw you back.

We did have the opportunity to return to Sweden last year. However, timing and circumstances would not allow. Again, this year another opportunity presents itself and, although only temporarily, I will once again be spending a month in the Land of the Midnight Sun. I miss Sweden and her people. I am looking forward to visiting familiar places and doing a little writing.
